Infants 

Here at Birdie's Nest we have two infant rooms. We have an infant room A, and an infant room B. Room A are infants who aren't mobile. Infant room B is for infants who are crawling, moving around, and starting to walk. In our infant rooms we work on the following skills

  • Creating a warm, trusting relationship with all babies

Toddlers

Once your child is walking, has celebrated their first birthday, is off of bottles, and eating all table foods, they will move over to the toddler room! In the toddler room they work on the following skills...

  • Gross and Fine Motor Skills 
  • Table skills
  • Animal identification
  • Art skills
  • Communication
  • Manners, sharing, being a kind friend and gentle touches

2/3 Room

As soon as your child turns two years old, they move to the two and three year old room! In this room the children start working on preschool readiness skills like...

  • Dramatic Play 
  • Potty Training

Preschool Room

Once your child is potty trained and 4 years old, they will move on to our preschool program! We take great pride in our preschool program. We have a smaller preschool setting with only 14 chidren enrolled in the program at one time. This gives our children more one-on-one time to learn and thrive as they prepare for Kindergarten. Here are a few things in preschool that they will learn...

Enrollment Forms 

The following forms will be required before your child can start at BNCCC...
  • Fee Agreement Contract 
  • Family enrollment form (Intake Sheet) 
  • Physical heatlh form 
  • Certificate of immunization (From Pediatrician)
  • Parental emergency medical/dental consent form 
  • Release of authorization for photography and videos 
  • Allergy / food exemption / medical statement
  • Pickup permission form 
  • Child and Adult Care Food Program eligibility 
  • Release for sun block/ no known allergies 
  • Parent Handbook Statement of Acknowledgement 

If your child will be more than 1 hour late, we ask that you please call us and let us know. If your child is more than 2 hours late, with no phone call, we have the right to refuse care for that day.
